Microorganism: Many living things are composed of just one cell. it is a living thing that can be only seen with the aid of a microscope and they must carry out all of life's functions

            Bacteria

Bacteria are among the most primitive and plentiful organisms on the planet. They are very successful because they have survived and changed a little over several billion years. some bacteria like plants can make their own food .some bacteria can even live with little or no oxygen. bacteria are different from animal and plant cells in that they have no nucleus, no mitochondria, and no ribosome's.

         Fungi

Fungi includes many organisms that are multicultural. Bread mould, mushrooms, and puff balls are known fungi. some are good and some are harmful. Harmful fungi include those that cause ringworm, Dutch elm disease, and athlete's foot.

            Protists

Protists are found almost anywhere there's water it is not like bacteria. there is nucleus and it contains organelles such as Ribosome's, chloroplasts.

Plantlike Protists

plant like Protists get their food from the sun.

Diatoms

They are found in both fresh and salt water contain chlorophyll and they can make their own . diatoms are packed in two thin shells joined together.

Euglena

Euglena is both it is a plant and an animal cell. if theirs lots of sunlight, euglena acts like a plant and makes it own food. when reduced sunlight euglena, acts like a animal and begins feeding the smaller cells.

                                               Animal-like Protists

Animal-like Protists cannot make their own food like plant cells they must feed on things that are living or once alive.

Amoeba

When the amoeba moves it changes it's shape. they move by stretching out a branch of cytoplasm it is called a Pseudopodia. The Pseudopodia stick to an object and the body is dragged toward it.

Paramecium

the paramecium is like the amoeba it uses structures designed for movement to help it feed. Thier are tiny hair-like structures called cilia they beat together to create water currunts that move the paramecium. their is also cilia areound the paramecium's oral groove. Bacteria and other small cells is the main food.
